Dr. Colbert’s academic foundation began at Stanford University, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Symbolic Systems with a focus on cognitive neuroscience. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, followed by completion of an integrated plastic surgery residency at the same institution. His advanced training culminated in a fellowship in hand, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve surgery at Washington University in St. Louis.
